The air defence of the southern Ukrainian region shot down nine drones, military governor Oleh Kiper wrote on Telegram.
In the harbour area, falling debris damaged the roof of a building and caused a fire, which has since been extinguished, Mr Kiper wrote.
At first, there was no information about possible victims.
According to the Ukrainian military, 14 drones and one missile were repelled throughout the country.
Ukraine has been defending itself against a full-scale Russian invasion for 20 months.
